This painting is another version of my "bare trees" series.  It differs in size as the 18x24" is larger than any of the others.  And the painting is on gessoed paper attached to a cradled board.  This stiff paper surface provided a different surface which facilitated some crisper lines and edges.  

In my latest blog I mentioned the "Winter Project" which will focus on painting on paper.   I have stocked up on (archival quality) heavy weight papers and plan to use the upcoming winter weeks to explore working with this surface.  Please follow the blog to check back on more paintings produced by this project.
