This abstract floral mixes it up with bits of collage.   These collage pieces are from from my collection of hand-painted papers.

Collage has been steadily appearing in more and more of my paintings and this one has plenty of collaged "flowers".  I paint my own collage papers and store them in a big basket to pick and choose just the right one.  (And yes, scraps are never thrown away!)

So much of the inspiration for my paintings comes from my gardens.  And with this Spring in full bloom, look for more to come.
