"Summer Orchard at the Meadow"

by Judith F Lochbrunner

(20x20"framed , acrylic)

Ever feel like you have lost a week?   Well I looked up and it is 9 days into June!  Perhaps I can blame it on the "unofficial" start of summer.  Or maybe I should confess to starting so many paintings at once because I have too many ideas that have pulled me into many directions.   In order to remedy this I have switched my focus to finishing up all the starts including the one posted.   It combines the wild beauty of a summer meadow next to the white farmhouse and framed by the rows of the orchard.

This month is also the time to make decisions on summer and fall art shows to enter and/or participate.  Open Studios-Botetourt is already on that list.   With the others I hope to strike a balance between "too few and too many"  But I think for now that I will simply get back in the studio painting before making any of those decisions.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I appreciate your continued interest.

Happy Summer!

Sincerely,

Judy
